Is it impartial? Does the researcher allow prejudices to slip in?

Summary of Literature:
Is the literature summarized clearly?
Is the researcher objective?
Are references cited accurately?

Discussion:
Is the discussion impartial?
Is the logical progression clear? If not, why not?
Are the issues presented logically valid?

Conclusion:
Are the conclusions reached well supported by the facts presented?
Is the author conscious of personal biases?

References:
Is proper APA format used for the references?

General:
What is the paper’s strongest point?
How would you improve the paper?
What issues do you feel should be taken into account?
Is the language clear, understandable, and objective?

Abstract:
Write a one paragraph abstract for the essay on the back of this sheet.
